If a skin shows imperfections, a chemical peel can be a solution. If you have pimples, scars, pigment discolorations, fine lines, large pores, or if you want to keep the skin in good condition, a peeling is a very suitable method.

A peeling is a liquid or mask consisting of acids, which is applied to the skin. The acids loosen layers of cells in the skin, which causes the skin to exfoliate (peel off). Exfoliating brings new 'healthy' cells to the skin surface, making the skin look smoother, more even and more radiant. The PH of the skin is also lowered, the skin then becomes more acidic. This stimulates the growth factors in the skin. Growth factors are proteins that can activate or repair other cells. This, for example, stimulates the fibroblast (type of skin cell) to produce the fibers 'collagen' and 'elastin'. Collagen provides the filling and firmness of the skin and elastin for the elasticity of the skin. As we age, these fibers are produced a lot less.

There are many different types of peels. We work with mild peels such as glycolic acid, lactic acid, mandelic acid or strong peels such as salicyl, TCA, Jessner. Depending on the indication, a certain peeling is chosen. The peels consist of different ingredients and acids, so that each peel can address a specific skin problem. Some peels can also be combined, so that you can work on both pigment and scars in one treatment.

  • The skin will recover and renew itself, new collagen has been created and the skin will become tighter, smoother and firmer.

  • Reduction of wrinkles.

  • Pores become less visible.

  • The skin becomes healthier and therefore more resilient.

  • Reduction of diffuse redness as in Rosacea.

  • Pigment spots diminish.

  • Thinning of the horny layer.

  • Scars become smoother, less visible and more even.

  • After the treatment you may experience a warm feeling, but this is not unpleasant.

  • The result of the HIFU treatment is visible for 3-6 months because the collagen will increase, resulting in a fuller and tighter face. Furthermore, little or no recovery time is required with the HIFU treatment.

  • We advise you to use nutritious products and moisturizing moisturizer for the first few days after the treatment.

  • Do not use make-up for the first 48 hours after the treatment.

  • Avoid the sun for 10-28 days (sun holidays and winter sports).

  • Protect your skin well with at least SPF 30, in sun and rain.

  • Smoking slows down the healing process.

  • It is very important that you do not scratch the skin during the process.

  • Avoid sauna, hot baths and sweating (sports) for 48 hours after the treatment.
